Jun 13, 2018 i’m using office 365 on a macbook pro mid-2014 of the highest hardware ( i7 cpu up to 2.6ghz, 16g ram, 1tb pcie ssd) running both macOS High Sierra and Windows 10 (via bootcamp). It’s so obvious that the mac version is. laggy and buggy, slowly responsive and crashing from time to time while the windows version runs smoothly all the way. When it was first released, Office for Mac was very similar to Office for Windows (though the UI was more like Photoshop; instead of documents and tools in one window, Office for Mac had documents in their own windows and tools in dockable, floati.
