Description
IP Camera Viewer 2 app allows to monitor and record video from up to 10 IP Cameras.
It allows to easily setup recording video on schedule, or events only (Motion Detection).
Once the cameras are setup for recording, you could quickly search recorded video and export incidents as movies or just images.

Seems to work well but would have liked the option of choosing and external hard drive for the recordings so that my computer doesn’t fill up. Tried changing the settings but it reverts back to the default. Would have given it 5 stars if this option was available
Simple app, works with Hikvision cameras

This is a simple app, but I had it up and running with my two Hikvision cameras within a minute of installing it simply by putting the ipaddress of each camera in turn into the app and selecting the hikvision driver.
I haven’t tried configuring recording (I just wanted it for live viewing - the recordings are handled by another device) - does the job with less wasted space round the edges of the picuture than my other software.
Not sure if this is being actively managed/maintained but if so (and the developers read this) a couple of feature requests:
- allow the left hand ‘camera list/settings’ pane to be hidden - just leaving the camera window visible
- allow the camera window to ‘float on top’ of all other windows (while remaining resizable)
Depending on the cameras you own, depends on whether this is good or not!
It’s a simple app, and seems to support lots of cameras, but I own a load of Hikvision IP cameras and no matter what I try I to do, I cannot get them to work on this app. I have one Axis camera and that was super simple to get working, so I’m not sure why I can’t get any of my Hikvisions working. If this app could do all my cameras I’d be in heaven and use this full time. As it stands, it’s just a handy app for checking my front door cam every now and then. It’s free, so worth a try, but for now, I’m still going to have to look into going the full distance and getting an NVR that can talk to all my tech.
